How do I get started with a subscription service?
  • Virtual Marketing Services subscription, prepare a list of marketing projects you need completed. We'll be in touch to discuss the items with you. Or, you can contact us!

  • Blog Content, Newsletter Content, or Blog and Newsletter Content subscription, complete a Topics List Form for all of the blog and / or newsletter content to be written for your first month. Then, return it to info@Scribe-Etc.com ASAP so we can get to work for you! We cannot begin work without it.

  • Blog Content Management subscription, contact us via phone or email to provide information about your blog such as the blog URL, your blog provider, and the login and password for your blog.

How do I cancel a subscription service?
You can cancel your subscription from your PayPal account. Click here to learn how. NOTE: Subscription services are not pro-rated. Therefore, subscriptions must be canceled prior to the next monthly billing.


How do I change or add on to a subscription?
  • Upgrade or downgrade: If you would like to upgrade or downgrade a subscription, you will need to cancel your current subscription (see instructions above) and then purchase your new subscription. Please contact us at 404.461.9568 or via email to alert us of a change in services to insure work on your behalf continues without disruption.
  • Add: If you would like to add a new subscription to your current services, simply purchase the services you're interested in...and we'll get to work!


How do your Blog Content & Newsletter Content Services subscriptions work?

1. Subscriptions will renew each month on the same date of the month that the initial purchase was made. Ex: If you subscribe on the 5th of the month, your subscription will renew on the 5th of the month. Therefore, you must cancel the subscription prior to that date to discontinue service. NOTE: If you subscribe on a date of the month that does not occur each month (ex: 29, 30, 31), your subscription renewal date may be automatically adjusted for future billing consistency.

2. The copy for the blog and / or newsletter content will be written in advance of the time frame for which it is to be used. The standard delivery time for all blog post and newsletter content written is two weeks. As such, topics lists will need to be turned in no later than 15 days prior to the date they're needed. NOTE: It is your responsibility to submit this information; failure to do so will not entitle you to a refund and submitting information less than 15 days prior means that your ideal deadline may not be met.

3. All blog and / or newsletter content will be submitted to clients for approval. Clients will have the opportunity to request one round of revisions of the content. NOTE: Revision requests must be submitted within 72 hours of receipt of a draft to insure on-time completion.

3rd - Initial subscription purchase / subscription renewal

7th - Submit Topics List Form (send to: info@Scribe-Etc.com)

8th thru 18th - Content delivered to clients via email; client submits revision
requests within 72 hours of receipt

19th thru 22nd - Revised content submitted via email by midnight (EST)

How do your Blog Content Management Services subscriptions work?
The blog posting (up to 30 posts) with images, blog link requesting (up to 8 requests), and blog response posting (up to 8 response posts) features of this service will occur weekly throughout each billing period. Other features included with this service are one-time services and will be completed on your behalf during the first subscription billing cycle.


How do your Virtual Marketing Services subscriptions work?

One week will be required to complete most services; however, select services may require additional completion time. Virtual Marketing Services clients will be notified of the time for completion as projects are assigned.


How do I request a non-subscription service?
1. Contact us and get a quote for your project.

2. Sign the service contract that we will send you. Then, send it back along with your deposit and any background materials, research, guidelines, etc that we may need to complete the project. Completion of the initial purchase for subscription services signifies agreement to the Scribe, Etc. Inc. business terms.

NOTE: The project clock will NOT begin until both have been received.


Is Scribe, Etc. available for long-term writing projects?

Yes, Scribe, Etc. can be hired for long-term writing projects through our Virtual Marketing Services subscription. With that service, clients decide choose the number of hours they would like Scribe, Etc. to work for them--15, 20, 30, or 45 hours per month--as well as the projects we'll work on for them. **Scribe, Etc. is also available to work for firms that sub-contract.**


How long does it take for work to be completed?
The time it takes for projects to be completed depends on the actual project.
  • Individual projects & Virtual Marketing Services: Some can be completed in as little as 1-3 business days while others may take one week, two weeks, one month, or more. We will let you know the turnaround time at the time service is requested.
  • Ghostwriting / Book Writing Services: Time will vary based on (1) your book and (2) the service you're requesting. Generally, book writing / ghostwriting will take a minimum of two months to complete. Book editing and proofreading can typically be completed in approximately two weeks or less, depending on the length of your document / book. If you're taking advantage of our Writer's Counsel Services, we'll attempt to keep you on a schedule for completion; however, how long the project takes will ultimately depend on you!
  • Blog Content & Newsletter Content Services: The customary delivery time is two weeks following submission of the topics list form.

How does your project pricing work?
Many of our services are available for set rates or as subscriptions. Others are offered at a standard hourly rate. If an hourly rate is used, the price quoted will be the price at which you are invoiced. No surprises. Promise. (The exception: If you change the scope of the project. Even then, we'd notify you of the price change before we begin the additional work!) Contact us for pricing on your specific project needs.


What is your payment Policy?
  • Subscription services: Payment is automatically billed monthly in full.
  • Non-subscription services: For projects $350 or less, payment in full is required before work begins. For projects greater than $350, a 75% payment of the total is due before any work begins. The balance (25%) is due within 2 business days of receipt of the first draft if revisions are included; if no revisions are included, balance is due either upon completion of the work or within 30 days of the start date listed on the service contract. E-invoices will be emailed accordingly.
  • Book writing / Ghostwriting: Payment will be due based on milestones set for the project or on 4-part payment schedule, depending on which is most feasible for all parties. (For additional author / publishing services pricing, visit www.Scribe-Etc-Publishing.com.)


What payment methods do you accept?
  • Subscription Services: Payments must be submitted electronically via PayPal. PayPal account set up is required. All purchases are subject to sales tax.
  • Non-Subscription Services: Currently, all e-invoices and payments are processed and accepted via PayPal. You can easily pay for services via PayPal once we initiate email billing through PayPal, regardless of whether or not you have a PayPal account. Payments can be made via PayPal through an electronic funds transfer from a bank account or clients can use a credit / debit card to make payments. No e-checks, please.
